The Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) comprises approximately twenty supply chain executives from large member hospitals and regional affiliate systems within the GNYHA Services membership. The RAC was established in 2005 to provide an effective infrastructure for:

• evaluating existing regional agreements
• establishing new contract directions
• identifying issues of common interest for data and information gathering
• developing launch strategies for recently executed regional contracts

At GNYHA Services, we understand that substantial member savings and market share influence can only be achieved through a collaborative and productive interaction with our membership.

Member hospital representatives chair the RAC on a rotation.

Working task forces that focus on various areas of contracting are important to the RAC's success, subject areas include:

• Food
• Surgical Services
• Business Intelligence
• Construction and Facilities
